چکیده

This article will introduce an inventory model for deteriorating items under a ramp-type demand rate. In the sequel, preservation technology has appeared to reduce deterioration rate of items. The is considered time-dependent. Due demand, retailers may face complete and partial backlogged shortages. We suggest two-warehouse effect when retailer faces storage capacity problem. this model, it would mean them borrow rented warehouse keep products left from their warehouse. main objective find optimal decision variables, say cycle time, shortages cost. mathematical formulation with solution procedures, relevant theorems, algorithms been developed. Some numerical illustrations discuss verify optimality variables. graphically show iterative scheme obtained by method convexity solution. sensitivity analysis illustration be discussed. At last, managerial implication conclusion discuss.

Two-Warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Time-Dependent Demand and Partial Backlogging Under Inflation

This paper deals with a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with time dependent demand and partial backlogging under inflation. It is assumed that deterioration of items follows two-parameter Weibull distribution and demand rate varies exponentially with time. Shortages are allowed and partial backlogging depends on waiting time of next replenishment. A numerical example is pr...

Inventory models with ramp type demand rate, partial backlogging and Weibull deterioration rate

Recently, Skouri et al. (2009) proposed two inventory models with general ramp-type demand rate, Weibull deterioration rate, and partial backlogging of unsatisfied demand: (a) Model 1 was starting with no shortages, and Model 2 was starting with shortages. They derived the optimal solutions for both models. Then they ran 2 numerical examples, and concluded that ”the total cost for the model sta...

Two Warehouse Inventory Model with Ramp Type Demand, Shortages under Inflationary Environment

In the literature of inventory after the development of classical economic order quantity (EOQ) model researchers extensively studied several aspects of inventory modeling by assuming constant demand rate. But in a real market demand of a product is always dynamic state due to the variability of time, price or even of the instantaneous level of inventory displayed in retail shop. This impressed...

A credit policy approach in a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with price- and stock-dependent demand under partial backlogging

Advertisement of the product is an important factor in inventory analysis. Also, price and stock have an important role to attract more customers in the competitive business situations. Trade credit policy is another important role in inventory analysis. We have combined these three factors together in a two-warehouse inventory model and represented it mathematically. In addition, we have added...

An Eoq Model with Ramp Type Demand Rate, Weibull Deterioration Rate and Partial Backlogging, under Inflation

In this paper, an inventory model with ramp type demand rate with inflation and time value of money is developed. The deterioration rate follows three-parameter Weibull distribution with the concept of life time of an item. Shortages are also allowed and unsatisfied demand is partially backlogged. The model is fairly general in practice, as the demand of some items such as fashionable items inc...
